If you want to know the truth, I've always thought adults were keeping a huge secret from us kids. It's about money.

Eva is eight and has a theory about everything. Her little sister Tilly is two and eats the evidence. Together they find out how the grown-up world really works.

The Infinite Money Glitch

Eva needs the Glitter-Explosion Science Kit. It costs $25. Mom says no.

So Eva does what any eight-year-old genius would do: she prints her own money with grape marker. Dad has some news about that. Then come three weeks of sock mountains, garden weeds, one very wet car, and a song.

ATM noun
The machine in the wall that goes BEEP-WHIRRR when we need pizza.

Pulling on the earth's hair.

Pretending to be interested in an adult's boring story so they give you candy.

Work that turns into five dollars if Mom is in a good mood and you roll the socks like sushi.

Eva and Tilly is an animated family comedy for ages 7 to 11, told through Eva's diary.

One real idea per episode

Each story starts with a kid-logic theory and ends with how things actually work. Episode 1 is about money: it stands for real work, and you can't just print more.

Funny first

The lesson never arrives as a lecture. It comes from a dad with helicopter coupons, a toddler who eats the evidence, and a girl who finally earns something herself.
